Thanks Mageth ... yes I think it should have been labelled as 'vanilla custard' not 'vanilla'!! But I do far prefer this colour over the orange ones.

Bernieh:

You're so lucky to grow these without snails eating them down overnight. : > )

Actually Delonix ... I've been surprised at the almost total lack of snails this year. I mean we don't get many at all, but usually during the 'wet' I spot around ten or so. This year I've only spotted two! Maybe the kookaburras have been really honed their snail-catching skills!!

Bernieh:

It must be very nice to have kookaburras to eat the snails...they would be very fat if they lived here.

This wet winter has been especially active with thousands of snails. My poor Pachystachys, Crossandra are leafless due to snails...even though I put out a lot of snail, slug bait this year.

Lovely Bernieh does it smell of Vanilla too!

Well it's good to hear that some survived Homebird .... when I was buying these I was under the impression they would be more white too! But they're definitely vanilla custard.

So did I ... and so did the wallabies!! They happily munched this to the ground.
