Tacca chantrieri

meanie

By Meanie

Tacca chantrieri (Tacca chantrieri (Bat Flower))

The outer flower bracts (the dark ones) have now started to sweep back and up, and the "whiskers" have taken on a far more pronounced shape.

Just over a metre Sticki - it's the spread that is more of a problem. Without all the canes in there so that I can pull the leaves up it would spread out about a metre and a half!

just amazing! maybe needs a tube structure of netting behind it so you could attach it unseen? if that makes sense?
