That's strange, Denise. By way, do you find you have to cut out dead wood each year?

Very much so Spritz, I find they are quite brittle and I cut out quite a bit of dead wood each year. The white one is way behind this year lots of die back as if it had a dose of weed killer baffled, so I had to cut it back all over and gave it a good feed and its got leaves again so hopefully will survive.

I've got a problem doing it this year - I can't reach up above my head to get to the higher branches, and I'm certainly not climbing up a stepladder!

My white one survived well this year. It was a new one, because the last one didn't survive the winter. Such a shame. I had to replace it though - I love it!i

Its more important to look after yourself and not to over do it Spritz.

Looking very good, ours is so far behind, it hated the winter, would like to get the white one does the white have a perfume?

No, I don't think so, Dd. Solanums do get affected, don't they. Not just cold, wind as well. :-((

Denise, you're right. I haven't learned to pace myself yet. :-((

It is a skill yo have to acquire Spritz or it may be forced on you if you dont!

I'm afraid you're right. I finished planting up my containers, but I'm suffering from it. :-((

Naughty......... I expect you are glad you are not opening this year, it has been very stressful this time with all this odd weather about, too wet then too hot, plants behind, some up and over.......the list is endless, and now cakes to bake in a hot kitchen lol now you take it easy B..xx

It's scary to think the first date would have been this week! I certainly couldn't have done it, Dd.

Having said that, some areas of the garden are up to standard, but definitely not all. :-((
