My Ilima plant was blooming just in time for Halloween. The temperature on Halloween was a perfect 87ºF/31ºC in my neighborhood. Photo taken Oct. 31, 2011.

It is in the Malvaceae family. It's a Hawaiian native plant...and is not hardy at all.
