Scopolia carniolica - 2011 (Scopolia carniolica)

I can't believe I haven't posted photos of this one before. Creeping perennial, growing from rhizomes, about a couple of feet tall and across. Likes partial shade in a humusy soil

I don't know why Andrew, but I seem to know this as a poisonous plant? Wracking my brain to remember why I think that!

Shirley - the RHS A-Z of Plants says "All parts are highly toxic if ingested" - so I won't be putting it in my salads :-)
