With the long season, the richer darker peaches in the balsam poplar are vivid. A few of the aspen have this deep color as well. Perhaps our early frost and then long month warmer again set this color. Its lovely either way.

Thank you so much. Great response! :-) I give all credit to the tree itself. This is birch hill cemetery, and though still wild it has been allowed to become a specimen here. The blush in the leaves is something I haven't witnessed before, bringing it some drama in this sunset. I must admit, until I got some comments, I hadn't seen past the leaves. Thank you. :-)
