Thats maturing beautifully.

Look at the size of the leylandii in the background though! We're keeping on top of them and they do offer a great screen from the main road.

The ground cover lilies from Thompson & Morgan have been a disappointment they are totally upright rather than offering any kind of cover. They look a bit silly at the front of the border.

Oh I can see the trees have grown in this photo. Dwarf lillies such as 'Colour carpet' do make bushy plants 12" by 8" across and planted 6" apart, I think to get them to provide ground cover effectively you really need to plant them in a zig zag so they seem 2 deep.
Yours look very upright have they flowered? Dont give up on them they do take a while to fill out anyway. I would be inclined to nip the tops off next spring to encourage them to bush out. My taller ones took almost 2 years to flower and start to fill out.
