They look like goldfish.

Yeah it was called the goldfish plant because these little flowers look like goldfish that are missing their tails.

I love this plant, and I think we've the same variety. Would it fill in if cut back do you think? Mine getting sooo long and a little bare on top.

Hi GT ... yes I have cut mine back before and they have come back - one better than the other ... but still, both did come back. They don't look so great when they get leggy ... I've also been told that the cuttings will strike in water. Didn't know that when I last trimmed my two, but will try it next time!

Ah, thank you. I got mine from cuttings in a propagation class. They strike well, though mine took a year to really take off and two more bfore the first flowering. It likes where it is now, so it should take a trim well.

Well I'll definitely keep the cuttings next time I trim then! I'm sure yours will take the trim very well.
