Variegated Impatiens (Impatiens)

My variegated Impatiens bloom all year here in San Diego. Soon they'll have to be cut back. Photo taken Feb. 2, 2013.

Thanks you! I love variegated plants. I have many tropical variegated plants, especially in the front yard.

Lots of people do not like variegated plants. But I love them too. Somehow they introduce a more interesting character into gardens. I would not like to have everything variegated though.
Up on the V. Island we treat impatiens as annuals

Klahanie:

I do love variegated plants; however, they have to be placed well in the garden. Variegated plants are good around lots of green or a solid colored wall. It breaks up the mass of green color.

I originally purchased the mother plant back in 1994. I just continue to take cuttings. The plants can live 2 or 3 years.
