In this garden they're still flowering !
Oddly, this pink one needs staking whereas the carmine one and the white one doesn't. Queer hey ?? !!!

They all have their little quirks don't they. I have yet to grow them Louise, but I must try next year because I love them so much. Are they easy ? Don't even know if they're bulbs or whatever ! lol :-))

They're very easy here but i'm a bit further south than you so not sure on hardiness there.
They need very well drained soil and full sun and they spread wonderfully here.
They're sold as hardy so it might be worth trying them.
The garden centre i use had very large pots of them for about £5 last week, that pot was at least three times the size of the ones i bought last year and i paid half the price :-/

I DO like gerbera but have never grown them. Seeing this one makes me want to try. :o)
