Oh! The herald of spring! I was beginning to wonder whether there was any hope of this wet winter passing! Lovely to see!

Lol....I always think of January as the start of winter, as we seem to get most of our worst weather in March! But that's Scotland for you. February is snowdrop month for us...and well in to March. So seeing your first snowdrop makes me think....sigh....a month to go!

I'm glad to see this pic after hearing all the news about flooding in your part of the country Barbara x

Definitely raises my spirits even though I'm half a world away. :)

Like Annella, so am I Barbara! I have been worrying that you were flooded out once again but seeing this amongst a dry background is just great......first signs of an early spring....:))

No, we had a very close shave twice, but the water didn't get to the house or even to the new flood defences. Part of the garden was under water, though, and the stream was rising alarmingly! The lanes were all flooded, and we couldn't go anywhere.

Isn't it lovely to see a snowdrop - the spring is certainly on its way (sometime!) :-D)
