I've got one of there but I had to cut it down because it was getting too tall.

They do grow tall, but I find the plant attractive so I will keep it this year. Mine grows in rhubarb patch so no worries. Although, I might cut the flowers before they'll seed everywhere. I have already few seedlings around.

I usually leave it but it gets bigger every year, and I've started to rearrange the area where it's growing. I'll be moving it in the autumn.
I like the flowers too :)

Does it grow wild there, also?

I have not seen it growing wild here, Delonix1.

It grows wild in most of California.

See who else is growing Foeniculum vulgare 'Purpureum'.

See who else has plants in genus Foeniculum.
