Asarina (asarina scandens)

This rather lovely climber is an absolute thug!
I made the mistake of planting it with my Sweet peas - it's seen them off. Not a mistake that I'll make next year as I'll plant these up away from anything else!

I originally though this plant was a Streptocarpus hybrid.

I like them very much, but it's a real bonus that they grow so rapidly. Nice too that they seem to be quite rare around here.
Downside is that it doesn't like company!
