Meanie:

Thanks!

There's so many hybrids...it's very difficult to keep up with the named varieties.

Did you see the red one I posted for you?

Katarina:

I'm guessing into the water? lol! The water temp is very cold at this time of the year, only 62ºF/17ºC.

Does not matter. I want to ruuuuuuuuuuun.

That's funny! :>)

Why? Aren´t you in California jogging?

26 Dec, 2011

I saw the red one!
Must admit, Anigozanthos manglesii is my favourite..........

Meanie:

Great! Glad you like the Anigozanthos manglesii!

I must admit I don't pay too much attention to this plant...as it's so commonly grown here.

Very rare here, so I want one!

:)

Katarina:

I used to jog, however, not any more, though. I do walk a lot. Most people here do jog, run or fast walk. We have the most perfect all-year weather here in San Diego, CA.

Meanie:

I'll have to see if I can get you seed. It's too bad I can't just sent you a plant! The plant is cheap, the postage is very expensive, though.

29 Dec, 2011

I know :) It was just joking. It is the fact that I love so much the sea and see it rarely.

Katarina:

I really can't relate. I've lived all my life close to the Pacific Ocean. I'm not sure what I would do if I didn't live next to the ocean...or relatively close to it.

29 Dec, 2011

That's kind, but I've just ordered the seed!

29 Dec, 2011

Meanie:

Good luck with the germination! I would guess they're pretty easy form seed. I've seen them self-seed here in some areas.
