Don't try to DIY. Our next door neighbours tried that and finished up bringing down a power line across our drive! You have to be able to control the direction its going to fall in. Get several quotes - prices and levels of ability and service vary a lot. London prices will probably be higher than here so quoting our local ones won't help you but we were quoted £200 for a 60 foot mature sycamore. Smaller ones were comparatively less.
