Whereabouts is Askham Bog? Is it near A Bryan or A Richard . Would like to go next time I am over after seeing the pics

Askham bog is accessible from the car park, which has a sign board, opposite the traffic lights on the way out of (or in to) Copmanthorpe. The far end of the reserve almost reaches Askham Bryan. Part of the reserve has a decking walk-way. Always worth a visit.

Thanks will do a visit when over next. Probably been there from A Bryan as my stomping ground when growing up though it wouldn't have had a name as such we just used to tramp around all over :~)
