Can you tell me about the tall white lamps please ?
Did you buy them locally .. or are they heirlooms ? :o)
I guess they are from mains electricity ?

LOL Heirlooms Got them from uncle B&Q about 4 years ago not sure if they still do them, but have a look as they have some nice ones.
They work on mains as you say, just had an idea also have a look on ebay it might be your best bet to get some from.
