Mossy Saxifraga- Cloth of Gold

  Mossy Saxifraga- Cloth of Gold

Love these mossy foilage saxifrage with rosy pink buds and stems and pretty white flowers, they are rampant spreaders and can very quickly take over a border, but dont seem to mind a close crop!

Do you trim yours around the edges, or actually cut the foliage shorter in height, as you would with grass ?

Im really brutal with it Terra as it does tend to invade other plants so I cut it around the edges and shear it on top when its finished flowering lol

I must try the shearing on top...
... I usually just chop it at the edges... Lol.

These are pretty. They remind me of Nemesia. It does tend to overrun things if you're not on top of it.
