They hang around the ponds at Sherwood pines, (another regular haunt/picnic favourite of ours) just down the road.

Its Forestry commision land with picnic/BBQ areas and loads of walks and play parks. Although Edwinstowe is inland there is quite a big tourist market here because of Robin Hood.
