my little girl age 9 found some old stones in the garden over the weekend and put paint to stone

They are lovely, your daughter has done really well. We have painted pebbles for my dad's grave in Cyprus. Many graves there are decorated with painted pebbles as flowers don't last, they look lovely and add a personal touch.
