Exochorda in winter

I think it will be easier to answer question Bornagain asked me about exochorda by showing it in a picture - in my opinion it looks its best in spring when it flowers. Here it is in Japanese garden at my college gardens - the shrub on the right hand side to the red bridge - in winter it shows an interesting arching form.
