Aaaaggggghhhhh!!!!!!

Last year Sue decided it was time to be shot of the Japanese Ananome as it was hell bent on world domination!! So she had me lift the paving slabs to make sure all the roots were gone. Imagine our horror when this one poked its head through the Jasmine fifteen foot from the original clump on the other side of the patio!

Hehehehe sorry fella couldn't help but laugh...

But take heart, my noninvasive bamboo has grown under the pond out the other side and has taken over a quarter of the garden and now heading off into the farmers field at the back

You'll just have to grow more climbers Mushy - it's great for making natural structures to grow things up!
If Sue ever says she wants the Bamboo out we're through!!

Spritzhenry and I both call this plant 'thuggish' as it pops up again even after you're sure it's all been removed ! It's coming through my dead, brown lawn now ... grrrrr ! Spritz posted a photo of a Double Japanese Anemone she has, i'st 3' tall with spread of 2' 6" after more than 4 years. That sounds a better variety.

Help! I just planted a root of this in my border! it's a new empty space and I thought it would provide quick cover with a bit of height....it seems I was right.
