Thanks Janey , it's been a good show weekend , I had a 3rd for my Gourd's as well and a 1st for my bottle of Sloe Gin ... i'm pleased :o))

Shall you make Pumpkin wine Amy??? I remember Ian making Marrow rum years ago.....by was it strong stuff....the whole lot fermented inside the marrow and nearly blew your head off when we tried it....Lol! Rice saki too....no wonder I don't remember much of our early days together....Lol!!

Thanks Dd , I haven't decide yet , i'm still gazing at it with some affection ...LOL...
Janey , we were trying to remember yesterday how we use to make some kind of rum in Marrows and couldn't remember ... we must have lost a few days at the time just like you Ha Ha .. ;o))

Sure the winner was genetically engineered Amy ..I d appeal and demand a DNA test .. bet they were giving it cortisone injections and re hydration therapy .. you know the lengths some will go to at these horticultural shows , its dog eat dog out there !

LOL Dd ... those were the days , we would try to make anything out of something else ..... :o)
You're right about that Jane ...LOL... the chappy who won always wins everytime with his giant veg , goodness knows what he does to them , they certainly don't look eatable ! you would need a wheelbarrow for one of his cabbages honestly ! ... .
