You are weeks ahead of us. Ours is just showing colour on the buds. We get the smallest crab apples I have ever seen. Just over quarter of an inch an inch in diameter. We also have a Golden Hornet which also has small apples, but twice the size of these. I wonder if you have Bull Finches they eat the buds and ruin the crop.
