SNOW IN SUMMER

SNOW IN SUMMER

In the wrong place this can be a weed, but round the base of a tree or a dry rough bank, it makes a good ground cover. However today with snow on the ground it looks like unpolished silver.

I agree,its a fast spreader,but I love mine,a nice splash of white,and its easy enough to control.Mine is under a tree too....

Stroller,Its name is Cerastium Tomentosum (what a mouthful),but if you google Snow in summer, you will get a more detailed description. Its a pity I live so far away,as I would have given you some of mine...I always have to be ruthless when it has finished flowering...but I still like it...:o)) I'm sure you may see some in gardens near you,and most people would be pleased to give you some,as you only need a tiny piece, and it will romp away...literally!
