More Redpole, both males

More Redpole, both males

Red headed males, no color on the females. I love these little things, I'm so glad they have begun frequenting my feeder!

I had a flock visit my when I lived on a hill in the birch. Probably 20-30 of them. One was white. It was so wonderful. I've loved them since.

Just shelled sunflowers. They're softer and agree with more of our tiny winter birds. I noticed that mixes just had all the sunflowers picked out. :-) I need branch out to new things and see what else I can coax in as the migrators return.
