This is a smaller form of the shrubby potentilla. Needs a little shade to stop the flowers scorching and fading

The shrubby Potentillas are one of the unsung heros of the the shrub border for long flowering. This is 'Marian Red Robin', Andrew. The guy who discovered it had a nursery down the road from where I work. It came from 'Red Ace', another good early summer/ autumn performer.
