That's a shame Hywel. The ones in the back garden are coming back now but they took more of a battering facing north.

Maybe they had some protection by surrounding shrubs. Mine was in a west facing corner so I can't understand why it died. Anyway I'm pleased about yours. It's one of my favourite shrubs :)
