Thank you girls. This is just the bottom of the plant, there is more on the top...the middle kind of didn't do much.

Alexandramou:

It's gorgeous! I really like many species of Clerodendrum!

Me too Delonix. Do you think this could handle our winters outside? My Clerodendrum Ugandense was in the garden, it died down but shot back up and is nice and big now.

I don't know...this one is very, very tropical. Here in San Diego this vine can possibly loose some of it's leaves during winter. I had one for a long time and it did well here...until it died from over watering.

Oops...

In their pots they stays then. I have two of them, one on each floor. I really like them ;o)))

I didn't mean to discourage you. However, it is a really tropical vine. Here in San Diego is can grow very nicely; although, it's not reliably hardy below 50ºF/10ºC.!

I don't mind keeping them in pots, they are a couple of years old now. My mom's didn't make it through this past winter...(I had mine in the house).
I don't want to think about winter yet....brrrr. Notice I'm not complaining about our very HOT weather this year?!?!?!?!?

It does look very nice in a pot. I had mine in a tiny pot, and shaped it like a little 9in/23cm standard. When it was in bloom I brought it indoors until most of the flowers dropped, then back outdoors it went. :>)

That sounds nice. I only bring mine in for winter....it's on my balcony right outside my front door so I see it all the time.

That's great! It's a beautiful vine! I may actually stick one on my shade structure in the front yard.
