That's interesting. How big was it ?

Some of the agaves are massive Hywel (Agave americana or Century plant they call it here is one of them)....way too big for your front garden :-) but I think this one could fit. :-) It was probably 3 feet but it had an exposed roots which would add a foot. The flowers on this one were little different than the other agaves.

These are desert plants and grow happily in Southern Arizona.
