Oh great, it rained here this afternoon, quite a heavy shower, the washing was just getting to be dry and I missed getting it in, it is still on the line, nearly dry again, so will retrieve it shortly.

Very pretty border. I really like the way you have laid the stepping stones.

thank you Dwyllis glad you like my little piece of heaven. :O) the stepping stones were just old ones blagged from somewhere or re-used from other places in the garden, I just thought I would put them at angles instead of straight and alternate them with the long straight ones. I am not one for things being in straight lines so it seems to have worked well in the garden for me. Thanks for looking in. :O)

Is the red on right crocosmia ? If so- How are you able to keep it in check ?
17 Aug, 2012
Hello Cenepk10 welcome to GoY its lovely to meet you.
Yes that is Crocosmia 'Lucifer' I do not try to keep it in check as I have a big garden and it can roam as much as it likes. lol. Actually it does not roam that much we are quite a heavy clay soil here and it seems to keep the plants under control fairly well without too much work from me.
We have had drought conditions here in the east of the country UNTIL they put on a hosepipe ban and it has not stopped raining since. lol. Although whilst the Olympics were on the weather was very kind and the sun shone. Thank you for looking in and again welcome.
ps. they have now lifted the hosepipe ban lol.

Lovely - I like the way the stepping stones are set. Looks like a nice place for a barbecue. You just need the right weather!
