My favourite flower too, but what I didn't know was that any part of a lily is poisonous to cats if ingested...

Thanks ladies, I love the detail a close up gives you, you see so much more than when you just 'look' closely.

Strange you saying that they are poison to cats, before my cat died, she would not come in the living room if I had lillies in a vase on the table......

Perhaps she knew something, Milky?

I only learnt that fact this weekend from my daughter. She told me as my Sister has cats and one is very playful. I 'googled' it and she is right!
