I have calamondin too. All spring and summer it is on my southernly oriented balcony, now it is in my room. Do you have also so many fruits as I do? I had almost half a kilogram this year. Somebody promised me recipe for marmelade, but it did not reach me :)

Nice to hear you have one of these plants as well! :-))

My plant no longer looks even remotely like my photo above as ALL its leaves have dropped off! ;-(( Must be from the warmer, drier conditions in our living room, it obviously doesn't like them!

I got a couple of tiny fruits but they have dropped off as well! I hope it will survive the winter indoors & that it will recover when I put it out on my balcony again in the spring.

I don't know of any recipe I'm afraid. If you do a search on the internet you are bound to come up with several different recipes.

Hi Balcony, this falling leaves can originates from too much warm and dry climate. My Calamondin started to drop leaves last year and one expert here, who grows lemons, told me (to my surprise), that Calamondins are often attacked by special parasite, if they are indoors. You can see it on the surface of leaves as white spots, leaves then turn light and drop. So if there is still above 5 degrees of Celsius, you can keep it outdoors. By doing so, you will make the tree more resistant to this parasite. Also, even in winter, calamondin needs full sun and reasonable watering. Good luck.

Thanks for your advice. I didn't know about the insect but I'm sure my plant has lost its leaves because of the dryness of the air in our living room.

Now that you mention the temperature I may have left it outside other years. I've had it for at least 2 years maybe 3.

@ Jean: I think it maybe because of the same problem mine is suffering from: dry air.

Welcome to GoY! :-)) We all hope you will find lots to interest you here.
