Thanks Sheilar, very big now so I feel I should say its 12-14 years since I planted it and I have never fed it.

Do you deadhead it Denise?

I do with tiny scissors Sheilar keeps it lovely and tight and as you see I get my reward the following year.

I've got a few different ones and wasn't sure whether you should trim it back. I have been deadheading them as I think it promotes more flowers

So pretty and such a good natured little flower. At what stage do you think it's ok to divide this? I've got a little one of these, and I'd be happy to cover the whole rockery with them. Perfect!

I have never dared divide this, but now its so big I guess I could try in the Autumn? I will not dig it up and replant as I would hate to lose it, but what I might try is taking a part of it from the edges and placing in very gritty potting mix and over winter in the green house G.
