Yes, I was lucky. I got two photos, one of which was blurry. It's a 'she' by the way, as males have red on their heads, so my book says.

There's been a cuckoo quite near us for the last few days - wonderful! Such a treat. :-D

The cuckoo must have been very close - in the trees next door, I think. I wish he'd flown into our garden! I hope he stays around.

He/she was around for three days - but I haven't heard from him since. :-(
