Got a question, though...

I once inherited a massive rockery, planted with aubretia. It looked like the hanging gardens of Babylon - magnificent!!!
...until they went back...then it was just a horrible yellow mess...puts me off having them now :(

What should I have done?

i must admit after flowering they can look a bit tacky, but i give mine a little trim a feed and following year they are full of flowers again..

im pretty sure now the unknown in my hanging basket is aubretia now. though it looks really spindly maybe some plant feed?? hope it becomes impressive! :)
