The Dahlias are my husband’s favourite so he usually gets some of those before he thinks of any other plants. We had a lot of the giant ones last year but because the heads are so big and heavy, it wasnt easy keeping them upright in the strong winds even with canes.

I like dahlias but all mine died in the frost last winter. Your idea of growing seeds in with the bulbs is great.

She's growing loads this year and i think will be showing too !
