Wisteria Floribunda
Genus: Wisteria.
Species: Wisteria floribunda.
A perfect Wisteria for a south facing wall. It will grow in most soils but takes at least 7 years to get going. This one is 20 odd years old. It takes quite a lot of looking after. The new shoots were plaited together to form a structure and now this has been formed all new shoots are cut back 3 or 4 times a year. It is a rampant plant and if left would quickly cover the house and get under the tiles. It is truly amazing when in flower.
