Scopolia Carniolica

Little known creeping perenial for full sun to part shade. A member of the potato family it produces brownish purple to red nodding flowers mid-late spring, dark green attractive oblong veined leaves, best planted in a shady area of the garden for a splash of spring colour, poisonous.
Planted to the right of Mukdenia in wood behind tree trunk seat.
Bought Harrogate Spring Show 2015.
