Sciadopitys verticillata 'Wintergreen'
Genus: Sciadopitys.
Species: Sciadopitys verticillata.
Japanese Umbrella Pine that does not yellow in winter. All the descriptions I have read claim that it is a narrow, conical tree but I am not sure how much narrower it is than the species. The foliage is darker green and really does hold up well in winter. Japanese Umbrella Pines are beautiful trees and one of my favorite plants.
