Hepatica noblis Rubra Plena

From Bjs June 2014 - planted in Acer bed to left of A. Garnet.
A highly attractive evergreen perennial with kidney shaped deep green leaves having three lobes. These are borne usually after the flowers which rise first in early spring, usually around mid march. The flowers are a real treat as they are fully double and a strong cerise-pink.
