From Helene in London - planted beneath the Enkianthus. Although tender, she says it survived bad temperatures in her garden. Time will tell!
A dwarf, hardy species, considered as one of the best which producess green spathes in summer. This plant prefers cool, peaty soil and will tolerate a sunny position in moist soil. Tubers should be planted about 15cm (5.9 inches) deep and mulched with organic matter in the winter months.
