Helleborus argutifolius - corsican hellebore
This hellebore is in the shade garden, beside the fence, in front of the big bamboo. It doesn't need it's leaves removed as they lie fairly flat to the ground. It's one of the first things to flower in the new year. The flowers are green. As with all the hellebores, remove the flowering stems, right to their base, before the seeds start falling.
