This group of South African succulents can generally tolerate more water than some other succulents
although they may also suffer in wet winter conditions.
Providing good drainage can increase longevity.

Sun loving, heat loving, DROUGHT TOLERANT & DEER PROOF, too! Excellent for rock gardens, trailing over rock walls & containers.

This forms thick, colourful mats, useful when these plants are used as a natural 'mulch' to protect tender bulbs which are growing beneath them.
