Wild: Dog Rose
Genus: Rosa.
Species: rosa acicularis.
This is a common pink wild rose but we have so much and the flowering display in Alaska so wonderful it is well worth mention. It can be hard trimmed to make a very nice floriferous hedge. It is very spiny and a bit venomous, so handle with care.
