Giant Himalayan Lilly
Genus: Cardiocrinum.
Species: Cardiocrinum giganteum.
Bought this lily a couple of years ago, and until this year had been decimated by something, however this year it has shot up and having found a red lily beetle on it and researching it, I now inspect it most days for infestation.
My wife (God love her!) wanted to dig it up last year as it looked decidedly dead!
Who said men haven't got the 'Midas touch'!
