Species: Tulipa violacea.
don't remember planting these but they are lovely all along the left hand side of the garden.
Miscellaneolus group tulip with 2-5 linear, channelled, hariless glaucous, grey green leaves, to 15cm log. produces star shaped hot pinky flowers with yellow centre.
