Sweet Yellow peppers

I bought the seedlings about 3 weeks (Mid February) ago as a gift to my sister, who loves peppers. Everyone told me they didn't stand a chance of growing, 'cause it's too cold here, but apparently they're wrong; I know peppers need heat when they're first sprouting, and I know then need it when they're fruiting (usually in the summer, so that works out fine; a good summer will be hot enough) but once they have a few leaves (these seedlings came with 4 each) they just need lots of light and water. I hear they're not actually that heat-needing when they're fruiting either, they're just REALLY hungry. We'll see. Either way, in the last three weeks they've doubled in size and have another set of leaves, so they're doing well.
