Genus: Miscanthus.
Species: Miscanthus sinensis.
Medium wet, well drained soil in full sun to part shade. Best in full sun. Tolerant of summer heat. 1.5m tall spread 1.2m. Cut foliage back to ground in early spring just before new leaf blades appear. To be planted behind Eupatorium in 2nd bed.
