Grevillea 'Peaches and Cream' is new and much sought after grevillea cultivar which has been recently released in Australia. This cultivar is a cross between a white-flowered form of the Queensland species Grevillea banksii and Grevillea bipinnatifida from Western Australia, and was a chance seedling in a Brisbane garden. This plant is characterized by its flower color; two toned color of a cream and pale apricot color, turning darker upon aging.
A small, spreading bird-attracting shrub, 1.2 m high by 1.5 m wide, with bright green attractive foliage which takes on a bronze sheen in winter and yellow flowers which age to various shades of pink and orange.
Its small size lends itself to use in a small garden, and its long flowering period attracts birds. It prefers a full sun position in well-drained soil and is tolerant of a wide range of conditions including humidity, drought and frost.
